Sgt. Stammers was in the 12th Battalion of the King's Royal Rifle Corps.
He was killed on 19th August 1917. He was aged 25.

Sidney was the son of John and Jane Stammers, of Prittlewell; Husband of B. L. Stammers, of 18 Bardolph Rd., Tufnell Park, London.
