Pte Mitchell was in the 1st/5th Battalion of the East Lancashire Regiment.
He was killed on 21st September 1918. He was aged 30.

Oliver was the son of John and Louisa Mitchell, of Bristol; Husband of Elsie Irene Mitchell, of "The Elders," Rochford, Essex.

He is buried in Bagneux British Cemetery, Gezaincourt
