Pte Haylett was in 1st/3rd Battalion of the London Regiment (Royal Fusiliers).
He was killed on 30th August 1915. He was aged 30.

James was the son of Robert and Emily Haylett, of Southend, Essex; husband of Kathleen Haylett, of 5 King Street, Church Road, Tottenham, London.

He is buried in Boulogne Eastern Cemetery
