Pte Shelley was in the 8th Battalion of the Norfolk Regiment.
He was killed on 24th October 1917. He was aged 33.

Harry was the son of Joseph and Louisa Shelley, of Southend-on-Sea; husband of Mary A. E. Shelley, of 25 Shrewsbury Rd., Forest Gate, London.

He is buried in Mendinghem Military Cemetery
