Pte Clarke was in 3rd Battalion of the Rifle Brigade.
He was killed on 2nd July 1917. He was aged 19.

Frederick was the son of Arthur and Louisa Mary Elsey, of "Highlands", Carlingford Drive, Westcliff-on-Sea, Essex.
