Pte Soal was in the 6th Battalion of the Leicestershire Regiment.
He was killed on 5th September 1918. He was aged 19.

Francis was the son of Samuel P & Ellen Soal of Scratton Lodge, Brook Road, Prittlewell.
Native of Little Stambridge, Essex.

He is buried in Bagneux British Cemetery, Gezaincourt
