Gnr Heasman was in the "D" Bty. 21st Brigade of the Royal Field Artillery.
He was killed on 20th April 1918. He was aged 33.

Alec was the son of James and Louisa Heasman, of Southend-on-Sea; husband of Sarah Jane Heasman, of 11 Salisbury Avenue, Westcliff-on-Sea.

He is buried in Duisans British Cemetery, Etrun
