Sgt. Neil Morrison was
the son of Donald and Mary Morrison of Glasgow.
He
joined the RAFVR in September 1937.
Called up on 1st September 1939, Neil completed his training and joined 54 Squadron at Catterick in late September 1940.
He moved on to 72 Squadron at Biggin Hill on 4th October 1940, and then on to 74 Squadron, also at Biggin Hill, on 26th.
On 22nd February 1941, Neil shared in the destruction of a Bf110 with
Wally Churches. This was to be his final victory; he was killed two days later. He was aged 26.
